Would you like to be a subscriber to our next CD?

We are thrilled to announce plans to record our second CD, two cantatas and a motet by J S Bach. Recording such a CD with singers and instrumentalists is a costly enterprise, but one that we are very much looking forward to.

Thanks to a very generous anonymous donation, we are over half way to funding this project. We propose to raise the remaining sum by individual subscriptions.

Subscriptions were commonly used in the 18th Century to raise funds for concerts and publications. This model has been successfully revived in recent times to help fund CD recordings.

We now seek 100 subscribers to raise the funds required to record, edit and produce the CD. Each subscription will cost a minimum of £50. For this, each subscriber will receive:

• Two copies of the CD
• Their name included (if they wish) amongst the list of subscribers in the CD booklet
